Lifecycles training helps LCA professionals stay ahead

ALCAS member company Lifecycles has always cared about the latest developments in the world of LCA and make it their mission to spread their knowledge and experience. In keeping with this goal, they have created new and expanded training programs for LCA professionals.

Introducing: LCA Refresher Course

The world of LCA is moving fast these days and it is hard to keep up with the latest happenings relating to European standards, new impact methods and consequential LCA modelling.

Lifecycles new and compact online “LCA Refresher course” is targeted at current and lapsed LCA professionals wanting to keep abreast of the latest developments in the LCA practice and methodology.

The course will be delivered online, in four 90-minute sessions over two weeks – we will be using a mix of interactive tools and exercises and we will have some surprise guest appearances for specific topics.

This course will account for 6 CPD points for Certified LCA professionals.

The next training course will start on 21st September 2020. Register here.

A regular returns: LCA Ninja Training

In Lifecycles online introductory course “LCA Ninja Training” participants will get an intensive training on the art and science of LCA, including access to SimaPro - a detailed LCA modelling tool, and PIQET - a life cycle management tool for product and packaging assessment.

This dynamic, web-interactive course has been designed for people both new to LCA and people wanting to further their knowledge in LCA models. It covers the fundamentals of LCA and standardised procedures and provides an overview of how LCA is undertaken in a practical sense. Case studies and practical tests will put your recently learned knowledge to the test and will help you gain a more hands-on experience.
