The European Commission launched the much-awaited “Level(s)” - a sustainable building performance reporting tool that aims to bring a unified approach across the European Union to the sustainable design and operation of both residential and office buildings, covering new or existing structures.
The voluntary tool has been designed to allow everyone to increase their understanding of how buildings impact the environment, how those impacts can be reduced and to get a better appreciation of the more demanding performance assessment schemes and tools moving forward. Level(s) is the result of comprehensive stakeholder engagement to determine the issues important to the industry.
