The Department of the Environment and Energy has just released a new set of five National Carbon Offset Standards (NCOS). For the first time these standards specifically reference AusLCI as a high priority source for emission factors. This recognition from the Department is testament to the high standard of AusLCI.
Work is also underway to align NCOS with the Australasian EPD Programme. It is rewarding to see ALCAS’s two major campaigns (AusLCI and EPDs) linking with Australia’s leading carbon neutral programme.
