AusLCI to have new data on water and wastewater supply

Updated: Jul 1, 2020

AusLCI Report - March 2020

The Australian Life Cycle Inventory database (AusLCI) will surely have new data on water and wastewater supply, including a combined water and water supply process comparing how much water is consumed in households versus what’s disposed to sewer.

These are part of the activities to create AusLCI processes which can be used in the Climate Active program being run by the federal government.

We are also currently reviewing new processes on future electricity grids out to 2050 and 2080 that can be used in Green Star LCA to better represent the impacts of a future grid compared to the embodied impacts of the building over life.

The AusLCI website will also be updated soon to provide carbon footprint factors for any AusLCI process and these will be available to subscribers and corporate members of ALCAS. More details on pricing and availability will come in the next newsletter.
