Webinar tackles how a vehicle’s CO2 footprint can be calculated over its life-cycle

A webinar conducted by Martin Rothbart, Senior Product Manager Energy and Sustainability for AVL, shows how a vehicle’s CO2 footprint can be calculated over its life-cycle. Different examples of the influencing parameters, such as energy mix, used processes and geographic location, were also discussed in detail in the presentation.

The primary issue tackled in the 60-minute webinar is why a vehicle’s CO2 footprint should be calculated from ‘well to tank’ to consider the impact of manufacturing zero-emission vehicles and the need for a more holistic view of the generated greenhouse gas emissions.
