IEA to Assess Life Cycle Related Environmental Impacts Caused by Building

June 6, 2017

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has launched a new program to assess the environmental impacts of buildings.  Annex 72 sets out to research harmonisation issues arising when applying life cycle assessment approaches on buildings.  The project will act as a platform for the exchange of experiences and information within partners countries and to foster the application of LCA on buildings in countries with yet little experience.

The project kicked off with a work program planning meeting on 18-19 May 2017 at the Danish Building Research Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark.
